Are there any difference between Psychotherapy and Counselling?

While both approaches can be provided by the same psychologist, Psychotherapy treats mental health problems through talking therapy and it can be a long-term treatment while developing a deeper insight into clients’ experiences. On the other hand, counselling can be a short-term treatment that mainly focuses on promoting wellbeing and assist people to find solutions to life problems and critical times (e.g. grief and loss).
